Programmes

We aim to tailor-make each programme to the needs of your school. Once those needs are discussed and agreed, our Programme Managers will make all external arrangements for the programme, and will detail the 'internal' school arrangements which will be necessary. Our objective is to make the process as painless for teachers as possible!

Programmes consist of a series of interactive sessions, lead by a volunteer business leader. These range from representatives of large multi-national companies, to local entrepreneurs, involved in running their own businesses. Each session lasts for around 60-80 minutes, during which time students consider key business and life skills.

Whilst there is no such thing as a ‘typical’ programme, below are programme schedules designed around the specific requirements of a High School (Example A) and 6th Form College (Example B) The leaders shown are those who participated in these specific programmes and are by way of example only. Seminar leaders are volunteers, and are ‘subject to availability.’

Some schools/colleges prefer to adhere to the ‘normal’ school timetable, which can be less disruptive. Others enjoy adding to the ‘special’ nature of the day, by taking the participants off timetable. Please feel free to discuss any ideas and preferences with our Programme Managers.

Example A – A ‘Key Skills’ programme for up to 120 pupils, normally from Years 9 or 10.
